鶹 is committed to ensuring the equal and holistic inclusion of people with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
In 2019, the university founded the Accessible University working group, which aims to identify and address those instances where barriers to accessibility – both physical and on websites and in teaching – still need to be eliminated. The working group developed the Action Plan – Accessibility at 鶹, which was approved by the Presidential Board in summer 2020.

Representative for Students with Disabilities
The representative for students with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses provides information and support for students who face challenges due to illness or disability: Studying with a disability and/or chronic illness

Representative for Employees with Disabilities
We attend to matters that impact employees with disabilities, but we are also available to support and advise individuals (e.g. with applications) who have health problems or are not yet considered “severely disabled”.

Accessible University working group
The Accessible University working group was founded in 2019 and developed the Action Plan – Accessibility at 鶹 in the following months. The plan contained numerous activities for the subsequent five years and was officially approved by the Presidential Board in 2020. The working group has since been responsible for overseeing the implementation of the activities outlined in the plan.
